stove is ideal for room additions or in any room where you would
like to add a fireplace easily and conveniently.
One
Firebox, Many Options
Empire has designed a firebox that is so versatile it can be used
as a fireplace insert of a freestanding stove. Adding a surround
installation kit to the firebox turns it into a fireplace insert.
Or use the firebox with the pedestal kit to create a freestanding
stove. The firebox comes with a specially designed log set that
enhances its beauty and efficiency and can be used with natural
or propane gas.
Flagstaff
Fireplace Inserts Built for Flexibility
Your existing masonry or factory built fireplace can be transformed
into a clean, efficient source of heat with the Flagstaff fireplace
insert. The insert is available as a direct vent model that utilizes
your existing chimney or as a vent-free model. The optional automatic
blower maximizes the heat distribution to your room to keep you
cozy and comfortable. Controlling the fire is easy by using the
manual switch or various remote options available. The unique bay
window provides a wider view of the fire, and the optional stone

Start of a Great Universal Mantel
Empire
Comfort Systems proudly introduces the White Mountain Hearth collection
of Universal Mantels. Empire's craftsmen (and women) build each
mantel from 3/4 inch fine furniture grade cabinetry components,
including select hardwood veneers. Because this natural wood can
vary in appearance, we grain matched the components for each mantel.
It takes a little more time, but assures you of a better looking
mantel.
Each
mantel is detailed in matching solid wood trim - in oak or poplar.
The full 3/4 inch cove moldings and edge trim add structural integrity.
Matching decorative trim pieces - in complementary sizes - add beauty
and character. To ensure that your mantel keeps on looking beautiful
for years, they glue and nail each trip piece. Special tooling and
controlled environment allow the craftsmen to assemble your mantel
with greater precision and tighter joints than all but the most
skilled custom woodworkers can achieve.
Furniture-grade
cabinetry components and 3/4 inch real wood moldings ensure lasting
beauty.

White
Mountain Hearth mantels are hand sprayed with specially formulated
UV-cure finish that's more durable and more uniform than brush-on
finishes. To ensure a perfect color match, all the components for
your mantel are finished at the same time, by the same craftsman,
using the same batch of stain or paint. After curing, your mantel
is hand packed - ready to ship. Oak trimmed mantels can be ordered
with a light oak finish perfect for modern, airy spaces. The dark
oak finish adds a touch of formality and warmth and makes your mantel
the focal point of any room. The warm, rich cherry finish - applied
over the hardwood veneer and solid wood trim mantel - brings out
every detail in the wood grain and molding. Many designers prefer
cherry finish for its ability to "color" a room and adapt
to changing light.
The
versatile white finish - also applied over the hardwood veneer and
solid wood trim mantel - acts as the perfect artist's pallet for
modern and traditional settings. Use accent colors and fireplace
trim to makeover the mantel to suit the season or your mood. For
custom installations, White Mountain Hearth Universal Mantels are
available in unfinished oak and unfinished hardwood. (Note: The
unfinished hardwood mantel is crafted from fine-grain poplar veneers
with poplar trim. It is stainable, not just paint-grade.)

Vail
Vent-Free Fireplaces
The
Vail vent-free fireplaces offer just the right combination of ambiance,
efficiency and convenience - not to mention unmistakable comfort.
Design-certified by the American National Standards Institute and
zero clearance certified, each model offers 99% fuel efficiency.
Requiring absolutely no ventilation to the outside, the fireplaces
install easily on any wall and operate by drawing in the room's
existing air, then heating and re-circulating the warmer air back
into the room for maximum comfort. The modulating hydraulic thermostat
models regulate the temperature, and the millivolt models are thermostat
and remote-capable. For maximum safety, the pilot light on each
model is equipped with an oxygen depletion sensor and an automatic
shut-off valve.
The
Tahoe Collection: Complete Direct-Vent Fireplace Systems
Tahoe
Direct-Vent Fireplaces are simple, elegant, and complete. Direct-vent
fireplaces draw in fresh outdoor air to support combustion, and
exhaust the combustion byproducts to the outdoors. The Tahoe's vent-within-a-vent
isolates the incoming fresh air from the exhaust, yet requires just
a single opening through he roof or outside wall. The Tahoe 30 is
heater-rated at 63-percent efficiency at 20,000 BTU. The Tahoe 36
and 42 arrive as decorative units, but convert easily to heater-rated
systems. The Tahoe includes the exclusive Slope Glaze Burner and
Charred Oak Log Set. Heat-resistant, tempered glass covers the hearth
opening. Louvers at the top and bottom help circulate the warmed
air, and all controls are discreetly concealed behind the lower
louvers.
Options
& Accessories
Replace your Tahoe's standard flat black louvers and frame with
polished brass or high-gloss black. These accessories are sold separately,
so you can create the look that's right for your room. Select all
brass or all high-gloss black for formal settings, or accent the
standard flat black frame with brass louvers. Take charge of your
fireplace with the battery-operated remote control, battery-operated
thermostat remote, electric remote control, wall thermostat, or
wall switch. Tahoe RF models include the thermostat remote system,
which automatically varies flame height and blower speed to maintain
your pre-set room temperature. Single speed or variable speed blowers
help circulate the warmed air throughout the room. The optional
FreshAir+ System blends warmed air with outside air to continuously
freshen your indoor air.

Design Your Classic Cast Iron Stove
They
offer plenty of design options to customize your Classic cast iron
stove and enhance the beauty of your room. The lace pattern in the
center panel adds a distinctive accent and can be removed for a
better view of the fire. The standard grill inlays match the color
of your casting, or optional stove inlays are available in your
choice of six colors. A floor pad is necessary for the stove if
it's placed on carpet or tile, and they have designed many styles
of floor pads to fit in any space and decor. All models are remote-ready
with a variety of optional controls or they can be operated manually.

models feature a pilot light equipped with an oxygen depletion sensor
and an automatic shut-off valve for maximum safety. The manually-controlled
logs sets feature the comfort of three heat settings. The millivolt
models are thermostatic and remote-capable, and the variable models
come equipped with an adjustable flame height remote control.
