Surrounds

Charleston Poplar Surround.

The Charleston Poplar Surround is hand crafted using a combination of solid Poplar and Poplar veneer. Using the wood type of Poplar allows you the option to paint or stain this elegantly detailed surround. The surround is constructed using easy to assemble cam locks, and available in corner and wall units. Available in 3 models: Wall, See-Through and Corner and 4 finishes: white, unfinished and oak.

Gas Fireplaces

B-Vent

B-500, B-600 & B-800 Circulating

35", 40", and 45" front-view fireplaces all only 16" deep. A quality powder coat finish on all exposed surfaces assures durability. Extremely versatile, units can be fitted with an optional forced air blower and full bricked liner. Units come standard with black louvers that can be changed to brass or brushed stainless steel. Radiant panels are available for a "clean face" look.

GRD & GHC

Superior's GHC and GRD models are packed with features that perform. Available in natural or propane gas models in a self-generating millivolt control system with piezo ignition or pilotless electronic ignition. The GHC and GRD come complete with clean burning ceramic fiber logs that produce realistic flames and glowing embers. Five inch type B venting makes installation easy and economical.

BBV

Get all the ambiance of a traditional woodburning fireplace with the convenience of a gas flame at the flick of a wall switch or the click of a remote control. The hearth is open, so there is nothing between you and the glow of the fire. The BBV-36/42 models use 6" B-vent, have brick interior liners and utilize the same framing dimensions as Superior's wood burning models so you can mix and match easily.

B-40

Get all the ambiance of a traditional woodburning fireplace with the convenience of a gas flame at the flick of a wall switch or the click of a remote control. The hearth is open, so there is nothing between you and the glow of the fire. If you prefer, operable glass doors in black, brass or brushed stainless steel can be added. The B-40 has a black interior and uses economical 4" B-vent.

Direct Vent

DT-400, DT-500, DT-600 & DT-800

Superior's Direct Vent SlimSpec family of 33", 35", 40", and 45" front view fireplaces are only 13" (33" only) and 16 inches deep. A quality powder coat finish on all exposed surfaces assures durability. Extremely versatile, each unit is capable of top and rear venting and all are heater rated using no room air, a feature of direct vent's energy saving performance. SlimSpec units come standard with black louvers that can be changed to brass or brushed stainless. Radiant panels are available for a "clean face" look.

CD Series

Multi-Sided, Corner, Peninsula and See-Thru

40" Multi-View gas fireplaces, are beautifully configured on bases only 24" deep. A quality powder coat finish on all exposed surfaces assures durability. Extremely versatile, units can be fitted with an optional forced air blower. Units come standard with black louvers that can be changed to brass or brushed stainless. Radiant panels are available for a "clean face" look.

Superior's PureHeat Technology

Superior's patented PureHeat technology combines unprecedented cleanliness, reliability and realism in an unvented gas fireplace. Pioneered by Superior, PureHeat technology uses a special Corning Long-Life catalytic combustor to eliminate carbon monoxide (CO) and other emissions before they enter the room. No chimney or venting system is necessary, so all the warmth produced by a catalytic fireplace goes into the room not up the chimney, resulting in 99.9% heat efficiency. No chimney also means reduced construction and installation costs. The Corning catalytic combustor was tested for a period equal to over 20 years of normal residential use without compromising its effectiveness. In addition to the Catalyst, PureHeat technology employs redundant safety features such as the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODs), and a sealed glass enclosure to assure that indoor air quality will not be compromised. Fireplaces with PureHeat technology also reduce or eliminate unpleasant odors sometimes associated with other unvented fireplaces. Most importantly, PureHeat technology creates beautiful, yellow dancing flames which, when combined with Superior's realistic ceramic fiber logs, and glowing embers makes for the most attractive fireplace aesthetics available today.

Don't be fooled by appearances. Superior Vent-Free Universal Fireboxes look like beautiful, cozy fireplaces, but they are actually energy efficient firebox enclosures for Vent-Free Gas Log heaters. Designed for use with Lennox Hearth Products or other listed Vent-Free Gas Log Sets, Fireboxes work in conjunction with the Log Sets to deliver 99% fuel burning efficiency. Together, they heat a room for just pennies a day.

Designed for installation ease, Universal Vent-Free Fireboxes require no venting and utilize a standard gas flex connector. Without chimneys or venting to contend with, Universal Vent-Free Fireboxes can be installed practically anywhere - under bookcases, windows, even on the 25th floor. Minimum clearance to combustible materials allows framing right up to the fireplace sides and top.

Choose from radiant or heat-circulating models with 36" or 41" screen openings. Radiant models allow facing materials to be installed flush with the front opening. Heat-circulating designs features louvers and space for installing an optional forced air blower for increased warm air circulation. Hoods are included to protect mantels and other combustible surrounds. Large brick liners create a genuine masonry look. UVF-5000 & UVFR-5000 Fireboxes

The Superior UVF-5000 is the largest universal Vent-Free firebox offered today. With many standard features, such as a full masonry-like brick liner and wide screen opening with recessed screen pockets. Designed for use with Superior's or other listed Vent-Free gas log sets, the UVF-5000 works in conjunction with the Vent-Free gas log set to deliver 99% fuel efficiency. Together, they heat a room for just pennies a day.

Without chimneys, ducts or flues to contend with, the UVF-5000 can be installed practically anywhere - under bookcases, windows, even on the 25th floor. Vent-Free Logs

VFGL-3-18/24/28

Believe it or not... with a simple gas line connection, Superior's Vent-Free Gas Log Sets can turn any fireplace into a clean, convenient space heater. Designed to be used in vent-free full size fireboxes, solid fuel-burning masonry or manufactured wood-burning units, they produce three times the heat of conventional gas logs for about half the cost. Their vent-free design is 99% heat efficient with adjustable high/low settings that control heat output for consistently comfortable room temperatures. Superior's Vent-Free Gas Log Sets feature four unitized oak logs made of heat-resistant, lightweight ceramic fiber. Logs simulate naturally charred real wood and produce beautiful glowing coals when burning. Available in 18, 24 and 28 inch sizes.

Wood Burning Fireplaces

HC-36

Circulating (HC) models offer energy efficiency and are specifically designed to boost warm air output. They are attractive and feature appliance-like louvers. The louvers come in black from the factory with optional brass or brushed stainless finishes available. Another option is the blower kit for increased warm air circulation. Choose from 36 or 42 inch.

BCF & BRF

For today's highly competitive new construction marketplace, there is no better bargain than Superior's model BS or BR. Either model offers the homeowner an attractive unit that resembles a conventional masonry fireplace. The BC is a practical heat-circulating fireplace, an optional fan system increases warm air distribution. These units are available in both 36 and 42 sizes and use an 8" double wall chimney system. The genuine-look brick liner and convenient damper design adds to the appeal. Options include an outside combustion air mechanism and a choice of decorator doors in a variety of beautiful styles and finishes. Choose from 38 or 43 inch.

BCF

Priced for today's highly competitive new construction marketplace, these attractive wood burning units are practical and economical. The genuine look refractory resembles conventional masonry models and convenient cam lock damper design adds to the appeal. Options include an outside combustion air kit and a choice of decorator doors in a variety of beautiful styles and finishes. The BCF is a heat-circulating fireplace that can serve as an additional heat source for a room. The optional fan system increases warm air output. Choose from 38 or 43 inch.

Multi-View Fireplaces: CST-3835, CPF-38, CST-38, CR-38

Superior's multiview woodburning models beautifully enhance the ambiance of any home. Consider the peninsula for an island installation at the end of a wall, the see-thru for a room divider, or a corner unit for a quiet retreat. These models create a dramatic focal point and are the best choice for installation versatility.

Radiant (RD) units have a "clean face" design with no louvers. This allows noncombustible surround materials to come right up to the edge of the front opening of the firebox, creating the appearance of a conventional masonry-built fireplace. This custom look is further enhanced by the realistic, rounded edge brick liner. Choose from 36 or 42 inch.

TM True Masonry Fireplace

You won't find a more realistic looking, large sized factory built fireplace than the Traditional Masonry (TM-4500) fireplace. In fact, Superior's TM is on of the biggest zero clearance units in the industry. With its rugged refractory interior, massive screen opening and stylish design, the TM easily provides the custom built masonry look that most homeowners desire. Superior's TM gives builders what they want too, including all the cost saving advantages of factory built zero clearance construction. Available in one large size, the TM has a screen opening width of 45", height of 29" and a firebox depth of 24". With big, beautiful features like these, the Traditional Masonry fireplace makes a grand opening in every home.
