Beautiful corner or wall mantels are available in walnut, unfinished oak, oak veneer over hardwood, unfinished hardwood, white laquer, with or without the Firebox Perimeter Brass Trim. Order for 26", 32" or 36".

Customize your Vanguard Direct-Vent Fireplace with a variety of optional brass louver kits, blowers and remote controls. Standard Fireplaces can also be paired with brass accent trim, brick liners and cabinet mantels. All cabinet mantels are also available in unfinished hardwood, ready to stain or paint. Additionally, 34-inch models can be paired with a variety of cabinet mantels, corner mantels, hearth bases and marble laminate trim. Firebox perimeter brass trim is included with every mantel.

The beautiful brass louvers easily replace the standard black louvers and the attractive polished brass firebox perimeter trim is a convenient way to cover unfinished edges around the fireplace. Optional fiber ceramic brick liners are also available to enhance the look of the firebox. Concrete refractory liners are standard with the See-Thru and Peninsula Fireplaces.

Blowers are offered in both manual, variable and thermostatic models and increase the air flow to maximize heat distribution. The thermostatic blower turns off and on automatically. An on/off switch or hand-held remote control is available for all models. The wall thermostat or hand-held thermostat remote are available only for Heater-Rated models.

Direct Vent

Direct-Vent Fireplace Systems Are Easy To Install, Easy To Operate.

A Zero Clearance standard direct-vent fireplace can be installed against or recessed into any outside wall that is accessible to your gas line. The slant back designs also provide flexible horizontal or vertical options. Venting kits are available for most popular applications.

Direct-Vent Fireplaces are ideally suited for today's energy-efficient, tightly constructed homes. The flames burn in a sealed combustion firebox, so the room air does not come in contact with the flames. The sealed firebox requires the fireplace to draw outside air to the fire for combustion. This is accomplished by using a concentric vent system which is actually a pipe within a pipe. Outside air is drawn to the burners through an outer pipe, while exhaust gases are expelled through a smaller pipe. Room air is circulated through passageways around the firebox, then emitted through the top louvers.

Outside air is drawn to the burner through an outer pipe, while exhaust gasses are expelled through a smaller inner pipe.

Room air is heated as it circulates around the chamber and is emitted through the top louver as heated air. The flames, glowing embers and logs also radiate heat through the glass into the room generating additional warmth.

With their new Total Control System Technology (TCS) Classic Hearth it's as easy as the push of a button on the hand held remote or wall switch. There is not another vent-free fireplace like this on the market! Now you can turn on your fireplace, raise and lower the flames and turn it off without ever leaving your chair. The TCS technology does require electricity to operate the fireplace remotely. B-Vent Burner System

These Top Vented B-Vent stoves are ideal when replacing an existing wood burning or B-Vent stove. The rear-vented B-vent stoves are the preferred choice when installing the stove in front of an existing fireplace and extending the vent pipe through the chimney. All models are certified as heaters with up to 75% heating efficiency. (Flue Loss Calculation) The burner system uses room air to sustain the flame, while exhaust gases are vented outside the home. They can also be installed in any AGA or UL certified vent-free universal firebox including their LogMate Fireboxes. All Log Heaters with variable manual controls including remote ready are also listed to the ANSI Z21.60 Vented Log Decorative Standard which requires the GA6080 damper clamp accessory. All their Vent-Free Gas Log Heaters are offered in both propane and natural gas models. Gas connection for all models is 1/2" NPT. If a remote control wall switch or wall thermostat is installed, some wiring will be necessary.
